As apathy rules are called, something vital what is and isn't there
Ignition only fires when one steps up, aware
Indifference to others, like a sin we bear
To what's not needed, we close our eyes in silent prayer
This morning on my school-bound way, a lady selling cheer
Unseen by me - her title changed - yet she was always near
Blind to words' transformation, are we losing what's sincere?
Becoming ignorant humans with nothing left to hear
Before you stands another soul, greet them with respect
Simple courtesies of life let's not neglect
For in this world of apathy where we introspect
A simple "Hello" could be an unexpected effect
