Nomad's Resilience

 

In the long rain, the yard, the road, the slope

 

Everywhere, the trees lining the street weep

 

A single pig, oblivious, wanders in the deluge

 

As a funeral passes, an abstract blur of sorrow and prayer

 

Yet, in the midst of this, the woman remains divine

 

Taking a shower, the drops like a cocktail of life

 

Like a cactus in the desert, enduring, thriving

 

Sipping green tea, observing the protest from afar

 

Among the constellations, she finds her justice

 

In the sound that has echoed for a thousand years

 

She gazes at the harbor, the jelly-like sea

 

Anticipating the future sustenance that will surely come

 

The universe is vast, yet she is not afraid

 

For she knows, in time, the flowers will bloom again
