A Chilly Blessing

 

 

In a lonely island where melancholy lingers rose vines are blooming abundantly

In a crumpled trash can, rotten tomatoes are filled to the brim

Under the glowing light, the night of the owl begins with warm milk

With neat and clean hands, unfolding the menu seeped into the creases of the food cart

In the shabbiness felt by the worn-out clothes, trying to find hope

The road leading to the sewer rides a gondola

Handing a red thread to you with white skin and freckles

Looking at the miracle shining like gold dust

For me, drowned in the biggest dilemma of life, the liquor store becomes today's comfort

To my lingering figure, the concrete wall offers cold consolation

Even to my blind eyes, I can hear the laughter of a group of seemingly happy people

Even in the paralyzed time, their happiness is conveyed to me

All of these things, loneliness and solitude, as well as hope and joy coexist

They form a small part of this world
